About me
I have always been a creative person and my passions are photography and filmmaking. I studied photography at art college and have been working in this field since 2010. I received the Cinematography Award at the 2016 Los Angeles SEE Film Festival.
I am fascinated by the interplay of light and shade that define spaces we live and work in. Photography is about problem solving. Each space is different with unique features to be captured and bring out its full potential.
My approach
Investing in a professional photographer can make all the difference in getting the right people and the right price.
I love shooting architecture as well as cosy cottages, warehouse conversions, Airbnb lets, and homes about to go on the market,
At GWM Photo, it’s more than a ‘quick pic’. It’s about angles, flow, lighting and lines to get you standout images.
I use full frame cameras and prime lenses to capture high quality photographs. Editing software is used to enhance the images while retaining a natural feel. I never like to go too wide with the camera, or use flash to over brighten. Images can be optimised for print, social media or the Web as required.
I work principally in central Scotland but I’m very happy to take commissions further afield even if it involves jumping on a boat or plane!
